Winter Soulstice Celebration of Light - Set your intentions for the New Year, set intentions for a joyful and loving path for our planetary brothers and sisters and Gaia. Monday, December 20, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. You will need a sleeping bag and food; shower and cooking facilities are available. Location is Arbour Vitae, a 45-minute drive from Ottawa, on the Rivière Blanche in St. Pierre de Wakefield.
Cost: $55.00 includes one night accommodation at Arbour Vitae.
Limited to 6 participants.

Snow Angel Silent Meditation Weekend - Have you ever enjoyed the sound of a waterfall in the winter or the musical call of trees on a cold winter's night? Would you like to enjoy the beauty of winter in a warm and cozy cabin in the woods? Here is the opportunity to skate on a pond under the light of the full moon, bring a book and settle in front of the glow of a crackling fire. Give yourself a weekend to centre your being.

Star Gazing - Connect to your cosmic star family at night and 'Holding Light and Silence' all day.
This event begins Saturday at 12:00 Noon until 12:00 Noon Sunday. Share your experience with others in the evening, or continue holding your silence. Star gazing and quiet forest walks after dinner. Leave Sunday by 2:00 p.m. Being in service to others begins with unconditional self-love; learn through silence how you can love self. You will need a sleeping bag and food; shower and cooking facilities are available. Location is Arbour Vitae, a 45-minute drive from Ottawa, on the Rivière Blanche in St. Pierre de Wakefield.

You might be wondering what to bring when a guest at Arbour Vitae?
May we suggest: a Sleeping bag, pillow cover (we supply the pillow), warm slippers, reading material (we are a T.V. free zone), water-proof foot gear and rain proof jacket, flashlight (for late night walks by the river), warm sweater, pajamas. We supply natural soaps, shampoo and hair conditioner, bring a towel if you would like to shower. Depending on your time of visit, summer we suggest a bathing suit and water shoes, winter warm coat, hat, mittens, scarf, high snow boots and ice skates. Regarding food, bring pre-cooked food, pre-made salads and or canned food. The focus on your visit at Arbour Vitae is on your complete relaxation with self and nature. Planning your meals ahead means more time relaxing!
